Waiter Menu

RISC OS/KaOS filetype: Menu (&D19)

KaArk/FileBox extension: 'MEN'

Description: Waiter was an application produced by Digital Services which allowed the construction of interactive menu structures. It was used on ArcWorld cover discs and by Tasmanian schools on their Econet networks as an Archimedes equivalent to Edmenu, a BBC application customized by Elizabeth Computing Centre (ECC) at the Elizabeth College.

Identification: This file format is binary data, but the menu text is readable as plain text within the structure. Also present are sprites. An example is provided—the last menu used by KaServer, the original server.
